Stacey, 76, of Brookings died Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls.  Funeral services are 11 a.m. on Tuesday with visitation two hours prior at Kinzley Funeral Home in Salem.  Erle E. Stacey was born on Jan. 10, 1942, in Mitchell to Harry and Doris (Sprague) Stacey.  He grew up near Farmer and graduated from Edgerton High School in Farmer.  He spent his life as a farmer in South Dakota, machinist in Minnesota and was an accomplished ballroom dancer on the dance floor.  Erle is survived by: four sisters, Collette (Robert) Oda of Brookings, Colleen Stacey of Zumbro Falls, Minnesota, Margaret Cox of Alexandria and Stacey Palmer of El Segundo, California, and many nieces and nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by four brothers, Danny, Tom, Roy and Ted.  A memorial fund will be established at Toys for Tots.  For online condolences, visit www.kinzleyfh.com.
